Geriatric Care Personal Support Worker

Support geriatric residents with bedside care at AgeCare, following established care plans and recognizing changing resident needs.
As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide care to residents while helping maintain a safe, secure environment. The work includes monitoring care, observing residents, reporting findings, and documenting information as directed. You will contribute to staff learning and onboarding while following infection prevention and control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor care delivery against established plans of care
Assist with simple treatments and related bedside care
Identify resident needs through observation and reporting
Assist with onboarding new staff as directed
Maintain safe and secure resident environments
Requirements:

Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program graduate
Knowledge of geriatric residents’ needs
Knowledge of simple treatments and bedside care techniques
Understanding of sanitation and cleaning techniques
Compliance with applicable vocational and association standards
Bring geriatric care knowledge, resident observation, bedside support, and safe practices to AgeCare’s resident communities.
