Casualty Claims Litigation Specialist

Use litigation strategy and third-party liability expertise as an experienced Casualty Claims Specialist with Aviva Canada. Work within a hybrid flexible model.
Aviva Canada seeks a specialist handling Bodily Injury claims, all in litigation, while also managing non-litigated files. You will interpret coverage, control expenses, set reserves, and provide clear communication to customers and partners. The role requires independent file handling and collaboration with defence counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle litigated and non-litigated casualty files through resolution
Develop and implement strategies with defence counsel
Control expenses through proactive claims handling techniques
Document and summarize file activity clearly
Provide outstanding service to customers and partners
Requirements:
One to three years of litigated bodily injury claims experience
Strong third-party liability claims knowledge
Experience with mediation, pre-trial, and trial processes
Superior organization and effective independent work habits
Adaptability, integrity, and willingness to learn
