As a Building Science Engineer, you will support several concurrent projects within Stantec’s Buildings team. Your work includes building reviews, repair design documents, construction review, specialty testing, and client or contractor communication. The position suits an engineer with building science knowledge and three or more years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with project management and coordination
Perform building envelope assessments and prepare reports
Develop design documents for repairs and rehabilitation
Observe construction and issue site visit reports
Assist with water, air, and thermographic testing
Requirements:

Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related degree
Three or more years of related experience
Knowledge of building science or envelope components
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Professional Engineer registration or pursuit of registration
Use building envelope assessment, field testing, and documentation skills to support Stantec projects across Ottawa’s built environment.
