Early Childhood Pedagogical Practice Leader
County of Wellington
Lead pedagogical practice across Wellington County’s early years sector through coaching, professional learning, and collaborative support onsite in Aboyne. Apply leadership skills within a full time contract schedule.
The Children’s Early Years division seeks a pedagogical leader for its Social Services department. You will support educators, supervisors, service providers, and community boards through mentorship, reflective practice, and professional learning. The work includes interpreting Ministry legislation, policy, and curriculum documents, while strengthening interdisciplinary practice across community agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach educators through onsite early learning pedagogical support
Facilitate professional learning sessions, materials, and presentations
Support leaders developing compliant policies and procedures
Report legislative non-compliances and uphold duty-to-report practices
Document observations and communicate significant programme concerns
Requirements:
Early Childhood Education Diploma or Association equivalency letter
Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing
Over two years’ relevant supervisory or adult education experience
Leadership knowledge in pedagogical practice and professional learning
Valid G2 licence and access to reliable vehicle
Use pedagogical leadership, coaching, and legislative knowledge to strengthen early years practice for Wellington County community partners.
