Design nationwide tower and rooftop sites with Stantec using structural analysis and telecommunications infrastructure expertise. This full-time role is based in Markham, Ontario.
As a Structural Engineer on Stantec’s Buildings team, you will support telecom projects through analysis, approvals, inspections, and quality control. The work requires knowledge of CSA S37-24, steel tower systems, concrete foundations, seismic design, and structural engineering software. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clients while contributing to business development and design standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and approve tower structures and construction drawings
Review custom mounts and post-construction inspections
Perform quality control reviews on project deliverables
Develop client presentations and design standards
Support business plans and pursue new opportunities
Requirements:

Hold multiple Canadian Professional Engineering licenses, including Ontario
Bring five or more years of related experience
Possess a Civil or Structural Engineering bachelor’s degree
Understand CSA S37-24, seismic systems, foundations, and anchors
Use TS Tower, TS Foundation, RISA, or Autodesk Revit
Apply structural analysis, telecom infrastructure knowledge, and professional licensure to nationwide tower projects with Stantec.
