Python Automation Co Op Student

Use Python and automation to improve supply chain workflows as a full-time, hybrid co-op student at Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. in Toronto.
This AI Intern, Supply Chain assignment runs from January through December 2027. You will assist with chatbots, document analyzers, predictive models, and integrations supporting enterprise supply chain platforms. The internship offers hands-on exposure to AI, automation, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with chatbots, document analyzers, and predictive models
Support integrations with ERP and internal management tools
Conduct testing, validation, and performance monitoring
Prepare process documentation, user guides, and training materials
Track emerging AI, machine learning, and automation technologies
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, or related studies
Hands-on experience with Python
Ability to learn systems and concepts quickly
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
Develop Python-based automation experience while supporting AI-enabled supply chain systems and processes throughout this Toronto co-op.
