Fire Alarm Inspection Technician

Build on fire alarm inspection expertise with Total Group of Companies Inc., preparing detailed reports and identifying compliance solutions. The work includes scheduled inspections and service calls.
This Fire Alarm Technician role supports fire and life safety professionals under direct Senior Fire Alarm Technician supervision. You will inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair new and existing systems. Responsibilities also include scheduled safety inspections, upgrades, additions, design drawing interpretation, and communication with clients, authorities, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled inspections ensuring safety compliance
Inspect, service, and troubleshoot existing systems
Complete repairs, upgrades, additions, and improvements
Prepare detailed verification and deficiency reports
Maintain company equipment and vehicles
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience in a related role
CFAA Certified or Journeyman Electrician
Understanding of fire alarm design drawings
Strong knowledge of system design and construction
Ability to travel and work after hours or weekends
Use inspection, reporting, technical, and fire code knowledge to maintain reliable systems and support Total Group’s safety work.
