Access Analyst FIPPA Compliance

Analyze access matters for Manitoba Government in Winnipeg, applying FIPPA knowledge and sound judgment to information requests and legislative compliance.
As an Access Analyst, you will assess government and agency practices against FIPPA and other applicable laws. You will help manage access-related risks while supporting legislative requirements. The position also contributes analysis to policy development and transparency initiatives across government.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze access-related matters throughout government
Assess government and agency access practices
Evaluate practices against FIPPA requirements
Facilitate effective management of access-related risks
Inform whole-of-government policy development
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in social sciences or related fields
Experience with FIPPA or similar legislation
Experience responding to access requests
Research, analysis, and findings presentation experience
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Use FIPPA analysis, strategic advice, and collaboration skills to support transparent access practices across Manitoba Government.
