Business Operations Sports Intern
Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE)
Support Toronto FC, Toronto Argonauts, and BMO Field Live Events through business operations, event planning, and project coordination in Toronto. Gain hands-on experience across professional sports properties.
MLSE seeks a highly motivated, organized, and proactive intern for its Business Operations team. You will contribute to strategic initiatives, event planning, project management, and daily operations. The January to April 2027 internship includes collaboration with internal departments, external partners, leagues, and event organizers.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate business initiatives across Toronto FC, Toronto Argonauts, and BMO Field
Track projects, meetings, timelines, action items, and stakeholder follow-ups
Prepare presentations, briefing documents, updates, and reports
Support match, sporting event, and special event preparations
Conduct market research, benchmarking, and industry analysis
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in sport management, business, marketing, or event management
Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Interest in professional sports, event management, and strategic planning
Build business operations experience with MLSE while supporting Toronto sports teams, BMO Field events, and strategic initiatives.
