Night Shift Heavy Equipment Operator

Operate heavy equipment on YORK1’s night shift, using safety procedures and equipment inspection skills across Ontario job sites.
The Heavy Equipment Operator handles spreading and compaction for construction demolition, soil remediation, commercial, and residential waste. This position operates varied heavy equipment at post collection facilities and specified job sites. Duties include material movement, preventative maintenance records, and site relocation.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment under company safety policies
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Maintain accurate equipment inspection records
Move raw materials and finished components
Relocate between job sites as needed
Requirements:

Minimum five years operating heavy-duty equipment
Valid driver license
Operate soil excavation and remediation equipment
Understand environmental and health safety regulations
Lift 50 pounds occasionally and complete testing
Bring heavy equipment operation, safety compliance, and maintenance discipline to YORK1’s night shift environmental services work.
