Apply maintenance and repair skills as a Maintenance Assistant supporting residents in a Cogir Senior Living retirement residence. Provide dependable customer service daily.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will execute routine repairs and minor maintenance operations throughout the facility. The work includes electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and exterior grounds maintenance. You will also inspect premises, complete reports, and follow safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute routine repairs on facility equipment and building systems
Perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and maintenance operations
Paint, complete minor carpentry, and maintain exterior grounds
Inspect premises for maintenance and safety concerns regularly
File required reports and follow established facility procedures
Requirements:
Follow oral and written instructions in English
Work independently and self regulate daily activities
Perform physical duties, including moving heavy objects
Carry out minor facility and equipment repairs
Provide or obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
Bring practical repair knowledge, safety awareness, and resident-focused customer service to Cogir Senior Living maintenance operations.
