Cool Aid seeks a Senior Cook to prepare meals while maintaining clean eating and preparation areas. You will work in a collaborative kitchen team across Rock Bay Landing, Mount Edwards Court, The Lily, and Crosstown. The work supports an organization committed to ending homelessness and improving vulnerable community members’ lives. Shifts and weekly hours vary according to program needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare daily nutritious meals in commercial kitchens
Maintain high cleanliness standards in eating areas
Maintain high cleanliness standards in preparation areas
Work collaboratively within the kitchen team
Support meal service across assigned Cool Aid locations
Requirements:

Completed Grade 12
At least three years of related experience
Food Safe Level 1 and Level 2
Acceptable Ministry criminal record check
Equivalent education, training, and experience considered
Bring senior cooking experience, nutritious meal preparation, and food safety expertise to Cool Aid’s community kitchens.
