Support English-language learners in Surrey as an onsite camp teacher with adaptable instruction, curriculum preparation, and student supervision skills.
Regent Christian Academy seeks one temporary, casual, on-call teacher for its International Camp Programs. Assignments may involve prepared lessons or full responsibility for planning, materials, and instruction. Adapt RCA resources to students’ ages, English-language levels, and learning needs. Work with the Camp Program Lead when developing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver curriculum prepared by RCA Camp Instructors
Develop lessons with the Camp Program Lead
Prepare classrooms and instructional materials as needed
Supervise students during classroom activities and excursions
Arrive punctually and maintain business attire requirements
Requirements:
High English competency for instructional delivery
Strong classroom management and student supervision skills
Ability to adapt curriculum and learning resources
TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification considered an asset
Christian education understanding and church participation
Bring English instruction, adaptable lesson planning, and classroom management to international camp assignments in Surrey, British Columbia.
