Assistant Banquet Manager Polo Park

Lead banquet execution at Canad Inns Polo Park using event coordination, team leadership, and customer service expertise. Work across meetings, weddings, and corporate functions.
The Assistant Banquet Manager supports banquet operations while reporting to the Banquet Manager and General Manager. This hospitality management role coordinates with Sales, the Executive Chef, and operations teams. It requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate meeting, convention, catering, and event service details
Train and equip banquet staff for assigned duties
Supervise daily department activities and assign work
Analyze banquet event orders and communicate setup requirements
Coordinate rooms, equipment, supplies, staffing, and menus
Requirements:
Three to five years of hospitality management experience
Previous supervisory experience with strong leadership skills
Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid Smart Choices certification or ability to obtain
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
