Financial Reporting Manager Healthcare

Manage financial reporting for Fraser Health’s General Accounting Department in New Westminster, coordinating audits, reconciliations, and accurate information flow.
As General Accounting Manager, you will oversee financial statements and reports for senior executives, the Board, health authorities, and external organizations. You will direct general ledger systems, account reconciliations, payments, audits, and financial analysis while supporting Accounting Services strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage preparation of financial statements and operational reports
Direct general ledger systems and account reconciliations
Ensure timely payments to staff, vendors, and physicians
Coordinate annual external audits and required reporting
Provide financial analysis to management and health authorities
Requirements:
CPA designation and/or university degree in related field
Seven years’ recent managerial and supervisory experience
Large, complex, multi-union environment experience
Ability to complete assignments within deadlines
Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Bring financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliation, audit, and analysis expertise to Fraser Health’s General Accounting leadership team.
