Senior Living Culinary Chef
PARC Retirement Living
Serve residents and guests through thoughtful culinary leadership at PARC Retirement Living’s Oceana PARC community in White Rock.
This temporary, part-time Chef de Partie supports a service-oriented dining operation within an independent senior-living community. The work combines meal preparation, creative menu input, kitchen organization, and resident communication. The schedule is Thursday through Monday.
Key Responsibilities:
Create memorable dining experiences for residents and guests
Provide creative input for regular and special-event menus
Support the Executive Chef when leadership is needed
Conduct kitchen audits and support culinary team operations
Talk with residents to monitor dining satisfaction
Requirements:
Skilled leadership and excellent communication abilities
At least two years in a similar culinary position
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification
Red Seal training and certification considered strong assets
Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certifications
Use culinary leadership, menu creativity, and strong communication to support residents and guests as Chef de Partie at PARC.
