Heavy Equipment Operator Construction

Operate heavy machinery safely for Ironclad Developments while supporting excavation, grading, material handling, and daily construction site operations. Equipment inspections and care remain central to the work.
Ironclad Developments designs and constructs modern multi-family apartments and seeks an Equipment Operator for active construction sites. You will operate telehandlers, forklifts, skid steers, excavators, loaders, or other applicable equipment. The work includes interpreting site plans, monitoring hazards, communicating with site personnel, and completing documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy machinery according to requirements, policies, and regulations
Inspect equipment before use and identify maintenance concerns
Perform excavation, grading, loading, hauling, lifting, and site preparation
Monitor equipment performance, hazards, and changing site conditions
Complete logs, inspection forms, housekeeping, and general site support
Requirements:
Experience operating heavy construction machinery in active sites
Relevant certifications or demonstrated equipment operating competency
Knowledge of equipment operation, safety requirements, and safe practices
Basic mechanical aptitude for inspections and minor repairs
Valid Canadian-issued driver's license and schedule flexibility
