Support clients across the lifespan as a Health Care Aide in La Crete, using personal care, observation, and health support skills. This temporary part-time position works days.
At La Crete Community Health Centre, you will support the Home Care program and Long Term Care. Working under nursing supervision, you will follow care plans, complete assigned or delegated tasks, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Your work promotes comfort, dignity, safety, and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct personal care and health support services
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in health status
Recognize behavioural changes and signs of distress
Support physical, emotional, psychosocial, and behavioural well-being
Requirements:

Valid CLHA practice permit before employment begins
Understanding of home care principles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathy, patience, professionalism, and collaborative approach
Ability to travel between various sites or locations
Bring compassionate personal care, observation, and communication skills to Covenant Health’s Home Care and Long Term Care services.
