MRO Inventory and Purchasing Supervisor
Maple Leaf Foods Inc
Lead MRO inventory and purchasing at Maple Leaf Foods’ Lagimodiere storeroom, managing spare parts from demand through fulfillment for maintenance and operations.
As MRO Supervisor, you will report to the Reliability Leader and oversee inventory levels, purchasing practices, and warehouse operations. The work includes supplier development, vendor performance, replenishment criteria, and storeroom standards. You will also guide personnel and report MRO metrics to plant and corporate leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute MRO planning and management best practices daily
Manage spare parts, consumables, services, and replenishment criteria
Develop alternative suppliers and manage vendor performance
Coach storekeepers, purchasers, receivers, and coordinators
Analyze and report MRO metrics to leadership
Requirements:
Three to five years in MRO purchasing, inventory, or maintenance management
College diploma in purchasing or inventory management
Supply chain or procurement management certification
Strong negotiation and personnel management skills
Experience with ERP or MRP systems; SAP knowledge an asset
