Lead home-cooked meal service and food operations for residents at PICS Society’s seniors housing facility in the Lower Mainland.
As Food Services Manager, you will supervise food services and housekeeping teams while reporting to the General Manager. The position combines leadership, administration, menu planning, inventory management, and hands-on cooking. Your work supports quality meals, resident well-being, and safe, sanitary operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach, mentor, and evaluate food services team members
Prepare schedules and complete bi-weekly culinary payroll
Plan menus and produce home-style meals
Order, receive, store, and monitor food supplies
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and serving standards
Requirements:
Minimum two years’ restaurant or home-cooking experience
Leadership experience in food services
Residential care or hotel food services background
Food Safe Certification and required background checks
Ability to stand for extended periods
Bring food services leadership, resident-focused communication, and culinary expertise to PICS Society’s senior living operations.
