Nutrition Services Supervisor Long-Term Care

Lead nutrition services operations at Kensington Health using food service supervision, menu planning, and strong staff leadership. Holiday availability is required.
The Nutrition Services Supervisor oversees daily Food Service Department operations across production, internal catering, and resident or client services. This supervisor supports an efficient, high-quality food program consistent with long-term care legislation and Public Health guidelines. The role includes employee supervision, scheduling, meal service planning, and diet compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Food Services employees and departmental operations
Assist with menus, meal preparation, and nourishment planning
Prepare schedules and ensure shift coverage
Monitor therapeutic diet compliance during meal rounds
Complete inventories, inspections, and required documentation
Requirements:
Minimum two years dietary supervision or management experience preferred
Experience managing employees in a unionized setting
Post-secondary dietary management education and recognized Food Services Program
Active Canadian Society of Nutrition Management membership
Microsoft Office proficiency and strong communication skills
