Licensed Practical Nurse Senior Care

Licensed Practical Nurse with medication administration and resident assessment expertise supports Chartwell residents through high quality services. This role serves retirement communities.
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides care consistent with Chartwell Retirement Residences policies, procedures, and philosophy. Responsibilities include basic assessments, treatment, personal care, delegated health services, and guidance for Health Care Aides. The position also supports residents and families through communication, education, and family involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, treatment, personal care, and delegated health services
Administer medications within LPN scope and applicable standards
Complete routine assessments and observe resident health status
Document services, charting, incidents, and resident condition
Ensure Care Plan services meet established standards and levels
Requirements:
Graduate from a recognized LPN Program
Hold valid registration with appropriate LPN associations
Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or retirement nursing
Demonstrate empathy and understanding of seniors' needs
Bring customer service and conflict resolution skills
Apply nursing assessment, medication administration, and compassionate communication skills while supporting residents at Chartwell Retirement Residences.
