Underground Mining Services Technician

Apply underground mining expertise to service installation, repairs, and maintenance at Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia.
Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. is seeking Underground Service Crew workers reporting to a Shift Supervisor. The FIFO schedule is 14 shifts on and 14 shifts off. You will support underground development mining through air, water, pumping, ventilation, electrical, and communication services. Safe operation and compliance with mine requirements remain central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain company safety standards and protect others underground
Install and repair poly-piped air, water, and pump lines
Operate pumps in sumps and pump stations
Install or remove leaky feeder and tele-remote communications
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency
Underground service crew experience preferred for two to three years
Valid Driver’s License required
Strong communication skills and good radio etiquette
Ability to manage time and prioritize mining support tasks
Use underground services, pumping, communications, and maintenance capabilities to support safe mining requirements at Red Chris.
