Teach the Master’s and Doctorate Seminar in Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus during Winter 2027. English instruction is scheduled Fridays.
This regular part-time Professor assignment belongs to the Department of Civil Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering. The course requires extensive seminar experience, teaching experience in the course field, and a PhD minimum. Students attend monthly seminars, make one presentation, and continue attending throughout the program. The course carries three credits, with expected enrolment of 30 students.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach the Master's and Doctorate Seminar in Civil Engineering
Support attendance and participation in monthly seminars
Require each student to make one presentation
Continue seminar attendance throughout the program
Assess performance as Satisfactory or Not satisfactory
Requirements:

Extensive experience in the field of seminars
PhD minimum qualification
P.Eng designation considered an asset
Experience teaching in the course field
Availability Fridays from 14:30 to 17:30
