As Director of Dedicated Infrastructure Engineering, you will lead managers and engineers owning GitLab Dedicated’s complete platform lifecycle. Your scope includes orchestration, integrations, resilience, incident response, Switchboard APIs, compliance, and enterprise migrations. The mission is scaling a premium single-tenant SaaS offering while preserving reliability, security, certifications, and enterprise-grade SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
Own GitLab Dedicated strategy and roadmap
Lead orchestration, resilience, Switchboard, compliance, and migration teams
Deliver AWS GovCloud and FedRAMP operational readiness
Uphold enterprise-grade SLAs across every tenant
Hire, coach, and scale distributed engineering managers
Requirements:
Leadership of enterprise SaaS infrastructure organizations
Expertise in cloud-native and cellular architectures
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modular services
Experience operating under FedRAMP and AWS GovCloud
Ability to translate financial targets into engineering plans
Direct GitLab Dedicated infrastructure, compliance, migrations, and reliability while scaling secure enterprise SaaS platforms for regulated customers.
