Senior Director Payment Technology Development

Lead payment technology development and quality assurance at CIBC in Toronto through a hybrid schedule with one to three onsite days weekly.
As Senior Director, Application Development and QA for ASG, you will guide the GPS product suite lifecycle. This strategic leader oversees developers and testers, complex systems, stakeholder consultation, and technology alignment. Payment systems expertise and emerging technology knowledge support innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop multi-year application development and QA roadmaps
Oversee software delivery across the GPS payments portfolio
Lead and inspire more than 50 developers and testers
Manage budgets, audits, risks, and information security
Recommend process improvements for operational efficiency
Requirements:
Deep expertise in payment technologies, application development, and QA
Experience managing teams exceeding 50 people
Experience managing significant budgets exceeding $10 million
Skills in risk management, strategic planning, and business cases
Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills
Shape CIBC’s payment technology strategy through application development, quality assurance, leadership, risk management, and stakeholder expertise.
