Senior Construction Estimator Vancouver
Buttcon
Lead construction estimating in Vancouver with Buttcon, using detailed cost analysis, tender closings, and strong client communication. Support major projects across diverse sectors.
Reporting to the Director of Pre-Construction & Estimating, the Senior Estimator leads estimating processes and tender closings. The work covers institutional, commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential construction. You will prepare budgets, coordinate subtrades, and collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Review plans, specifications, contracts, and document discrepancies
Complete Class D, C, B, and A budgets
Solicit bidders and coordinate subtrade tender distribution
Lead tender closings, bid leveling, and scope clarification
Identify risks, opportunities, and cost savings
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years in ICI construction or equivalent
Engineering or Construction Management degree, diploma, or equivalent
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project
Successful tender closing management experience
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
