Senior Industrial Process Engineer

Design industrial processes with Shellex Groupe Conseil using process optimization and hazard assessment expertise in a hybrid work model.
This Senior Process Engineer contributes to complex industrial projects from a Shellex office in Quebec or Toronto. You will apply process engineering, material and energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specification. The role supports decarbonization, energy efficiency, and industrial transformation projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimize industrial processes
Develop material and energy balances, PFDs, and P&IDs
Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and PHA assessments
Select and specify critical process equipment
Coordinate with technical teams, clients, and partners
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of industrial process experience
Good-standing membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
Consulting engineering experience in regulated environments
Fluency in French and functional English proficiency
Bring industrial process design, risk assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration expertise to Shellex’s complex projects.
