Telemetry Platform Engineer

Design telemetry platforms for tracing, metrics, and logging across hybrid cloud applications. This contract role emphasizes dashboards, alerts, and CI/CD integration.
As an experienced engineer, you will develop and maintain observability solutions supporting application reliability and uptime. Responsibilities include collecting, transporting, and visualizing telemetry while collaborating with DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and security teams. You will also help client teams adopt observability standards through knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
Design telemetry collection, transport, and visualization solutions
Configure dashboards, alerts, and alarms on telemetry data
Integrate observability tools with CI/CD pipelines
Enable reliability, performance, and security use cases
Support adoption through mentoring and knowledge transfer
Requirements:
Five years of relevant enterprise observability experience
Experience with one public cloud provider
Proficiency with dashboards, alerts, and application monitoring
Linux and database experience, including MySQL or similar
Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Bring telemetry engineering, dashboard configuration, and CI/CD integration skills to hybrid cloud observability initiatives.
