Support Squarepoint’s data ecosystem through production pipelines, infrastructure management, and incident resolution. Python and Linux experience are central to this work.
This Reliability Software Engineer works within the Data team on stability, availability, and performance. The position builds and monitors production pipelines, loads Timeseries for research and trading, and supports data trials. It also manages deployments, configuration changes, and user requests.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and monitor production data pipelines
Onboard data trials and load Timeseries
Handle production deployments and configuration changes
Support users and respond to operational requests
Plan capacity and performance for reliability
Requirements:

Four or more years of relevant software engineering experience
Two or more years of hands-on Python programming
Proficiency with Linux command-line tools
Knowledge of relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bring Python, Linux, pipeline, and production operations expertise to Squarepoint’s research and trading data environment.
