Inside Sales Specialist Electrical Distribution

Support electrical customers through inside sales, quoting, and order management at Gerrie Electric in an established distribution environment.
The Inside Sales Specialist connects customers with Gerrie Electric through responsive service and tailored solutions. This role handles orders, pricing, customer inquiries, and product support while strengthening customer and vendor relationships. Collaboration with outside sales, counter staff, account managers, and branch operations supports seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
Process orders, purchase orders, credits, RMAs, and backorders
Prepare quotes, maintain pricing, and renew pricing contracts
Respond to inquiries and resolve product or delivery issues
Recommend products, alternatives, promotions, and add-on solutions
Coordinate pickups, payments, inventory, shipping, and receiving
Requirements:
Two to four years of inside sales or customer service experience
Electrical industry or distribution environment familiarity preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems; JD Edwards preferred
Strong communication and customer relationship management skills
High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
