Permanent Educational Assistant Physical Care

Support students with multiple needs as a permanent Educational Assistant specializing in classroom assistance and physical care. This is a 1.0 FTE position.
The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board seeks an Educational Assistant for Our Lady of Fatima School and Mother St. Bride School. The position involves supporting students with physical needs, Autism, developmental delays, behavior, and anger management needs. Experience with behavior modification, augmentative communication, and digital learning tools is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom assistance and physical care
Support students with multiple needs
Apply behavior modification strategies when appropriate

Support remote learning with digital tools
Requirements:

Relevant two-year post-secondary diploma
Experience supporting students with multiple needs
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
