This CUPE teaching assistant assignment supports CVG2107, Geotechnical Materials and Processes, within the Department of Civil Engineering. The work is in person and on campus, in English, from January 1 through April 30, 2027. Seven positions are available, with 130 total hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Support student contact for Geotechnical Materials and Processes
Grade course work and student assessments
Proctor examinations and other course activities
Complete assigned additional course-related duties
Requirements:
Excellent background knowledge in the course
Excellent oral communication skills in English
P.Eng. or EIT experience is prioritized
Bilingualism is considered an asset
Availability for the 2027 Winter Semester
Use civil engineering expertise, English communication, and grading skills to support CVG2107 students at the University of Ottawa.
