Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA)
Provide specialized nursing care at Grace Hospital’s Post Anesthesia Care Unit in Winnipeg, using critical thinking and clinical expertise. This in-person position includes days, evenings, and weekends.
As a Registered Nurse with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, you will care for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. You will administer prescribed treatments, coordinate care and discharge, and contribute leadership within the healthcare team. PACU, ICU, critical care, and acute surgical nursing experience are relevant.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional registered nursing services to patients
Administer prescribed medical treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate patient care and discharge activities
Provide leadership within the healthcare team
Prioritize care amid simultaneous clinical demands
Requirements:
Graduate from an approved Registered Nursing education program
Complete a recognized Adult Critical Care or PACU Course
Maintain registration proof with the CRNM
Hold current BCLS certification
Demonstrate critical thinking and communication skills
Use PACU nursing, patient coordination, and critical care knowledge as a Registered Nurse at Grace Hospital.
