Field Service Technician UPS Alberta
Eaton
Service UPS systems and batteries with Eaton in Fort McMurray, Alberta, applying electrical expertise across customer sites. This role includes local and overnight travel.
As a Field Service Technician with Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Canada division, you will service electronic-based products in high-voltage environments. Your work includes installation, maintenance, repairs, and customer technical support. The position requires problem-solving, time management, and clear communication while supporting regional customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform emergency and preventive maintenance on a 24/7 on-call basis
Install and service company products at customer sites
Repair company products on-site or in-house
Support customers with equipment operation and maintenance
Address technical and service-related customer problems
Requirements:
Electrical, electronics, or engineering technology college diploma
Or Red Seal 309A Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician certification
One year of UPS, battery, or electronics experience
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
Ability to travel to the United States for training
