Senior Field Service Technician

Serve Smurfit Westrock customers across the Greater Toronto Area as a Senior Field Service Technician specializing in mechanical troubleshooting and installations.
This fully competent technician independently services Smurfit Westrock equipment with limited supervision. The work combines mechanical diagnosis, working electrical knowledge, customer training, and preventive maintenance. Strong communication, digital reporting, and safety awareness support effective service in customer environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, service, and troubleshoot customer equipment independently
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
Perform machinery audits and preventive maintenance visits
Train customer operators and maintenance personnel
Explain repairs and preventive recommendations clearly
Requirements:
Two to five years of mechanical field service experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and working electrical knowledge
Ability to work independently in customer environments
Understanding of OSHA and site specific safety requirements
Up to 70–80% domestic travel with own transportation
