Retail Security Loss Prevention Officer

Support retail security operations with theft detection, reporting, and regulation enforcement across shopping centres, malls, and distribution centres.
This permanent Officer position serves retail service and wholesale establishments, various locations, and private security agencies. Candidates need one to less than two years of retail loss prevention experience, with no degree, certificate, or diploma required. Responsibilities focus on monitoring activities, maintaining order, resolving conflicts, producing reports, and preventing shoplifting or theft. The role may require court testimony and includes English-language work for 32 to 48 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor activities within retail and wholesale establishments
Prevent and detect shoplifting, theft, and related losses
Enforce regulations to maintain order
Resolve conflicts and produce required reports
Provide court testimony as a witness when required
Requirements:
Retail loss prevention experience of one to less than two years
Class 5/5F/G licence for required vehicles
CPR, First Aid, and WHMIS certificates
Own vehicle, transportation, cellular phone, and internet access
Efficient interpersonal and excellent oral communication skills
Use careful monitoring, conflict resolution, and clear reporting to support retail security and loss prevention operations across multiple settings.
