The Casual Residential Care Worker position involves assisting individuals with disabilities in their daily routines while fostering independence. You will play a vital role by implementing engaging activities, administering medications, and providing necessary life skills training. Being an effective communicator and mentor is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend to all personal care needs of residents
• Report changes in health status to the team
• Administer and document medication as required
• Provide training in socialization and life skills
• Participate in planning and engaging in recreational activities
Requirements:
• Certification in Community Support Worker or relevant field
• 3-6 months related job experience preferred
• Must demonstrate understanding of complex disabilities
• Follow health and safety standards diligently
• Assist with laundry and cleaning responsibilities
