Apply Soil Mechanics II knowledge as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa, working in person on the Main Campus. English communication is essential.
This CUPE position supports CVG3106 during the 2027 Winter Semester. The work includes student contact, grading, proctoring, and other assigned duties. Four positions are available for the course, supervised by Sai Vanapalli.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students during 60 hours of course contact
Grade course work across 60 allocated hours
Proctor assessments for six scheduled hours
Complete four hours of other assigned duties
Requirements:
Excellent background knowledge in Soil Mechanics II
Excellent oral communication skills in English
P.Eng. or EIT status will be prioritized
Bilingualism would be an asset
Complete mandatory legislated University training
Support CVG3106 students through teaching assistance, grading, and proctoring at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus.
