The full-time Accounts Receivable Analyst supports end-to-end receivables operations within the Finance team. This position handles cash application, monitoring, collections, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution. The work supports research grants, contracts, and administrative and operational revenues.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply incoming payments to appropriate accounts and invoices
Code cash according to accounting structures and funding sources
Investigate unidentified, partial, and misapplied payments
Monitor aged receivables and follow up on outstanding balances
Prepare reports, analyses, and correcting journal entries
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
Minimum three years’ accounts receivable or finance experience
Advanced written and oral French and English
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
High attention to detail, accuracy, and professional judgment
Support accurate payment processing, financial reporting, and receivable resolution at RI-MUHC using bilingual communication and analytical expertise.
