Teach Electronics I labs and tutorials in person at the University of Ottawa during the 2027 Winter Semester. Use laboratory instruments confidently.
This Teaching Assistant position supports course ELG2136, Section A, in the Faculty of Engineering. Lead labs and tutorials, correct assignments and lab reports, and proctor midterm and final examinations. The work is conducted in English under the supervision of M. Ahmed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Electronics I laboratory sessions
Lead tutorials for enrolled undergraduate students
Correct assignments and laboratory reports
Complete related teaching duties
Proctor midterm and final examinations
Requirements:
Completed this course or equivalent with an A or better
Completed prerequisite courses with an A or better
Demonstrated experience using multimeters and oscilloscopes
Availability for assigned laboratory or tutorial supervision
Readiness to attend a TA workshop if necessary
Support Electronics I students through laboratory leadership, tutorial teaching, grading, proctoring, and practical instrument experience.
