Lead private equity, growth equity, and venture capital transactions as a Director with BMO Capital Partners in Toronto. Apply strong analytical skills across investments.
This Director role supports BMO Capital Partners’ North American middle-market investment activities. You will lead transactions from origination through closing, including structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and valuation. The position also involves portfolio monitoring, client coverage, and collaboration across BMO Financial Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead evaluation and due diligence for fund investments
Structure, negotiate, and close new investment opportunities
Present opportunities to Investment Committee and defend valuations
Monitor portfolio companies and management relationships
Develop networks across private equity and venture capital firms
Requirements:
Seven or more years in investment banking or private equity
Understand private company financing from early to mature stages
Strong capital structure knowledge and analytical skills
Ability to lead concurrent transactions independently
CFA, CPA, CA, CBV, or MBA considered an asset
Bring investment evaluation, transaction leadership, and portfolio expertise to BMO Capital Partners’ Toronto investment team.
