M&A Investment Banking Associate Toronto

Build M&A execution expertise with Greenhill in Toronto, using valuation modeling and quantitative analysis across strategic advisory mandates.
Greenhill Canada seeks a first- or second-year Investment Banking Associate for its generalist M&A advisory team. You will support buy-side, sell-side, and other strategic mandates across diverse industries. The work combines company research, transaction analysis, client materials, and relationship support within Mizuho Americas Corporate and Investment Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct quantitative economic, industry, and company research
Develop valuation models for companies and merged entities
Prepare technical client presentations and transaction materials
Support M&A evaluation, due diligence, and execution
Assist senior bankers with client relationships and idea generation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum three years’ relevant experience
Experience executing M&A transactions and managing processes preferred
Ability to synthesize information and develop innovative solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Strong communication, judgment, creativity, and teamwork skills
