ITAM Risk and Controls Consultant

Strengthen ITAM risk and controls with Akkodis in Montreal, combining asset management expertise with hybrid stakeholder collaboration. Contract engagement.
This experienced consultant assesses ITAM practices, identifies control gaps, and designs sustainable improvements. The work spans hardware, software, cloud assets, and configuration data. You will translate business, technology, regulatory, and operational risks into measurable, testable controls while improving governance, accountability, and data quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess risks and control gaps across asset lifecycles
Design measurable controls with ownership and evidence requirements
Develop procedures, process flows, RACIs, and governance documentation
Define KRIs, KCIs, thresholds, and management reporting
Drive remediation through completion with accountable stakeholders
Requirements:
Minimum three years of relevant professional experience
Hands-on ITAM lifecycle, inventory, reconciliation, and exception management
Understanding of preventive, detective, manual, and automated controls
Ability to work independently with limited direction
Excellent communication across technical and executive audiences
