Commercial Contracts Specialist ALTO Project

Commercial contracts expertise meets the hybrid ALTO high-speed rail project connecting Quebec City and Toronto through SYSTRA Canada. Support engineering project delivery.
As a Commercial Specialist, you will support contract and commercial management within a multidisciplinary environment. You will monitor engineering contracts, coordinate amendments, and prepare contractual communications. The role supports changes, negotiations, documentation, and client relationships while working with Project Commercial, Legal Affairs, and Risk and Insurance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor engineering contracts
Coordinate contract amendments and contractual communications
Review correspondence against contract terms and obligations
Document changes, compensation requests, and schedule extensions
Support negotiations and potential dispute resolution
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law or relevant experience
Five to ten years in contract or change management
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
Strong analytical, meticulous, and organizational skills
French and English communication skills, with MS Office proficiency
