Director International Business Transformation

Lead international business transformation at ABB in a hybrid Director role, applying strategy execution and operating-model expertise across global regions.
This strategic position sits within ABB’s NEMA International division and reports to the EVP International Sales. You will strengthen alignment across Regions, Business Lines, and functions while implementing the Stabilize-Optimize-Scale roadmap. The role contributes globally to the Motion NEMA Motors division and requires approximately 30-40% international travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the NEMA International transformation roadmap and track milestones, outcomes, progress, and risks
Align Global Business Lines with international product, portfolio, and investment priorities
Resolve systemic barriers across sales, operations, IT, finance, and HR
Maintain the target operating model for scalable international growth
Lead the executive-level International Transformation Office and governance cadence
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years in transformation, strategy execution, operating-model design, or consulting
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline
Experience leading complex transformation across geographies or business units
Ability to align senior stakeholders without direct authority
Fluent English and excellent executive communication skills
Bring transformation leadership, operating-model design, and executive influence to ABB’s global NEMA International business.
