Teach mechanical drawing in French as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus during Winter 2027. Support MCG1502 students in person.
This position assists the MCG1502 course supervisor with labs, tutorials, consultations, marking, and proctoring. The course is offered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering. One Teaching Assistant will support a course with expected enrolment of 119 students, from January 1 through April 30, 2027.
Responsabilités principales :

Conduct labs and tutorials for the mechanical drawing course
Consult with students about course material
Mark student work as specified by the supervisor
Proctor the final examination in person
Perform additional duties allocated by the supervisor
Exigences :

Successfully completed undergraduate mechanical courses
Strong knowledge of the subject
Excellent communication skills
Availability in person throughout the course session
Availability to proctor the final examination
