Registered Pharmacy Technician Dispensing

Support prescription dispensing at Shoppers Drug Mart through accurate data entry, medication preparation, and attentive customer service. Serve customers promptly while following pharmacy standards and privacy requirements.
As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will assist with technical dispensing functions and pharmacy services. The work includes prescription intake, refill processing, third-party adjudication, and maintaining pharmacy operations. You will refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to the pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather prescription information according to established standards
Enter prescriptions and process refill requests accurately
Select, count, measure, package, and label medications
Adjudicate third-party billing and manage related accounts
Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to pharmacists
Requirements:
Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
Effective organizational skills and multitasking ability
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Previous pharmacy experience preferred
