The Shoe Co. Store Manager

Lead The Shoe Co. store performance through coaching, customer experience, and operational excellence in a 12-month contract assignment. Sales and web orders are central priorities.
As Store Manager at Designer Brands Canada, you will report to the District Manager and lead an inclusive store environment. You will coach and develop the team while pursuing sales, profitability, recruiting, training, and development objectives. The position requires problem solving, multitasking, and strong customer connections.
Key Responsibilities:
Maximize store business results through exceptional customer experiences
Model responsive service, merchandise presentation, and operational integrity
Balance policies, shrink prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling
Recruit, manage, develop, and train talented associates
Implement agile business plans supporting company objectives
Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary education
Minimum four years in progressive retail supervision
Success achieving sales and profitability targets in large-volume stores
Strong leadership and ability to motivate others
Computer proficiency with email, Word, and Excel
Bring retail leadership, customer service, sales accountability, and team development skills to The Shoe Co. store environment.
