Coordinate drivers, vehicles, and schedules as a Transportation Dispatcher Scheduler with Transdev Canada in Kitimat, BC. Real-time operations monitoring and clear communication are central.
This full-time position supports safe, efficient, and reliable transportation operations. You will manage daily schedules, routes, vehicle assignments, dispatching, and driver coverage. The work also includes documenting service updates, responding to disruptions, and maintaining operational records.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare daily driver schedules, routes, and vehicle assignments
Dispatch drivers according to operational requirements and schedules
Monitor operations and respond to delays or absences
Coordinate vacation, sick call, and other driver coverage
Maintain communication with drivers, supervisors, and management
Requirements:
Two to four years of dispatching experience
High school diploma or equivalent Grade 12 required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency and dispatch software familiarity
Ability to work independently under pressure
Bring dispatching, scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills to support reliable transportation services throughout Kitimat.
